performance improvement project
A powerpoint and poster project given at the end of the in-class portion of the Wilma Chan Highland Hospital New Grad program. The topics were chosen by the individual unit managers and focus around current concepts for improvement on the given units. This presentation focuses on utilizing the SBAR format to improve RN to RN handoff during change of shift on a medical surgical unit.
head to toe demonstration
an instructional video for incoming nursing students on how to conduct a head to toe assessment. i directed, edited, and lead this project when i found out there was no up-to-date digital demonstration for incoming students. it is now a part of the teaching materials for the health assessment skills lab and future fundamental course.
nursing research pico project
a pico presentation video for our nursing research course. i worked collaboratively with my colleagues to put together the evidence based content and research. my biggest contribution to this project was collecting audio files, creating effects to highlight each section, and creating/editing a digital presentation of our findings.
